1 About these terms
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Zinggit, a voice-to-content service operated by Sentient Creative Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales with its registered office at 18 Blake Street, York, North Yorkshire, England, YO1 8QG (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By creating an account or using Zinggit in any way, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Where you are a consumer based in another jurisdiction, your local consumer protection laws may also apply.
2 The service

3 Your account
To use Zinggit you must create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and current information when registering
- Keep your password secure and not share it with others
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
- Take responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms, are found to be fraudulent, or that have been inactive for an extended period (with advance notice).
4 Acceptable use
You may use Zinggit for lawful personal and commercial purposes. You agree not to:
- Use Zinggit to create content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, abusive, fraudulent or that infringes third-party rights

We reserve the right to investigate suspected breaches and to suspend or terminate accounts where we believe a breach has occurred.
5 Your content and data
Ownership
You retain full ownership of all voice recordings, transcripts and generated content you create using Zinggit. We do not claim any rights over your content.
Licence to us
By using Zinggit, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process your content for the sole purpose of delivering the service to you — including passing audio to transcription services and text to content generation models. This licence does not extend to using your content to train AI models or for any other purpose.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that any content you create or publish using Zinggit does not infringe copyright, defame any person, or breach any applicable law. AI-generated content should be reviewed before publication. We are not liable for any content you choose to publish.
Voice data and GDPR: If you record conversations involving other people, you are responsible for ensuring you have their consent and a lawful basis for processing their personal data. Zinggit provides the tool; you are the data controller for any third-party data you introduce.
6 AI-generated content
Zinggit uses third-party AI models (currently Google Gemini) to generate content from your transcripts. You acknowledge that:
- AI-generated content may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete or not reflect your intended meaning
- You should review all generated content before publishing or sharing it
- We do not guarantee the accuracy, originality or suitability of any AI-generated output
- Ownership and copyright of AI-assisted content is a developing area of law — you use such content at your own discretion
7 Plans, pricing and payment
Free plan
The Free plan is available at no cost and includes a limited set of features as described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify the features included in the Free plan with reasonable notice.
Paid plans
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at checkout. All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise us to charge the payment method on file at the start of each billing period.
Cancellation and refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
- On cancellation, you will retain access to your paid plan until the end of the current billing period
- We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law
- If you are a consumer in the UK or EU, you may have a right to a 14-day cooling-off period for new subscriptions — contact us to exercise this right
Price changes
We may change our pricing with at least 30 days’ notice. If you do not agree to a price change, you may cancel before it takes effect.
8 Intellectual property
All elements of Zinggit — including the platform, design, code, brand, logo, and any content we create — are owned by Sentient Creative Ltd or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property law.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from any part of Zinggit without our written permission, except as permitted by law.
The Zinggit name, logo and brand are trademarks of Sentient Creative Ltd. You may not use them without our prior written consent.
9 Availability and service changes
We aim to keep Zinggit available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, upgrades or reasons beyond our control.
We reserve the right to modify, discontinue or retire features or plans. For material changes to paid plans, we will provide reasonable notice and, where appropriate, a pro-rata refund.
10 Limitation of liability
This section limits our legal liability to you. Please read it carefully.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sentient Creative Ltd shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising from your use of Zinggit
- Loss of data, revenue, profit or business opportunity
- Inaccurate or unsuitable AI-generated content that you choose to publish
- Any third-party services or platforms you connect or publish to
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
If you are a consumer, you may have statutory rights that these Terms cannot override. Nothing here affects those rights.
Our total aggregate liability to you in any 12-month period shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in that period or (b) £100.
11 Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. On deletion we will remove your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if we are required to do so by law.
On termination, your right to use the service ends. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including sections on intellectual property, liability and governing law) will continue to apply.
12 Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or via a notice in the app at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Zinggit after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you should stop using Zinggit and cancel any paid subscription before the changes take effect.
13 Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Zinggit will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where you are a consumer entitled to bring proceedings in your local courts under applicable law.
Before pursuing legal action, we encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any dispute informally.
